The off-set design of this instrument provides a level perspective independent of hand position and eases placement on the globe. Marks on the top of the ring are spaced 60° on either side of the center of the ring opening, serving as a guide for placement of a paracentesis 60° from the temporal clear corneal incision in coaxial phaco, or for placement of two micro incisions 120° apart in bi-manual phaco. The closed side of the fixation ring features marks that are 30° apart to serve as a guide for LRI nomograms. Overall length 117mm.
